Installation and commissioning
Each machine is manufactured to the customer's specific requirement and then prepared and packed ready for shipment. Machines will only be delivered to site after liaison with the customer's operational staff or site contractors, as appropriate.
The delivery process will be timed to coincide with the customer's requirements taking into account hours of opening to the public, staff/contractor availability and vehicular access. Each machine is then carefully manoeuvred to site and positioned accordingly before all packaging material is removed and taken away.
Machine commissioning is undertaken by Banking Automation service engineers or accredited service partners. The commissioning process includes connection to the mains power provided and communication link, on site testing and preparation followed by training and familiarisation for relevant members of staff.
Training
On site training is undertaken as part of the machine commissioning and this is normally sufficient to ensure that members of staff are fully conversant with the day to day operation of the machines, plus end of day routines such as removing customer deposits, accessing audit journal data and checking machine consumables. |

Alternatively our skilled trainers can be used to impart all essential information to the customer's own training team who can then carry out their own staff training. This has the added advantage that the customer maintains its own in house “experts “ on equipment procedures.
Banking Automation is also able to offer telephone support via our own service organisation. This allows for customer's staff or training staff to telephone through with any concerns or ongoing issues with regard to training matters and assistance with equipment procedures.
Each machine is delivered to site with a copy of a comprehensive user manual. This can also be sent via electronic means to your own in house training team for retention.
Service and Support
All systems have been designed in a modular format to enable exchange units to be swapped in and out quickly and easily on site rather than having engineers wasting valuable time trying to fault find to component level. Service and support can therefore easily be undertaken by appropriately trained engineers. Service and support options include utilising the services of our own factory trained service engineers in conjunction with accredited service partners or working with the customer's chosen TPM (Third Party Maintenance) company. |
